Tet holidays are the days of relaxation, happiness and joy. And similar to pine tree for Christmas holiday in the West, Vietnamese also use many kinds of flowers and plants to decorate their house in this special period. Some names can be listed out: Chrysanths, marigold, Mao Ga flower, paperwhite flower, lavender, to name a few. Some people nowadays even use orchid and rose, although this is not yet popular. Peach flower and marumi kumquat are familiar in the North while South people prefer ochna itegerrima for Tet holidays. Another reason is the characteristics of the plants. New Year's Flowers

People in 2 different parts of Vietnam have various explanations for this tradition. Northern people say that peach flowers blossom in spring – during Tet holidays while most other flowers still stay silent, symbolizing the strong vitality and a brave heart. Moreover, the pink colour of peach flowers shows the love and joy spread among people in this unique time of the year. Marumi kumquat bears different story. A tree with all 5 characteristics: full of fruits, flowers, leaves, branches and roots is a symbol for wealth and happiness for the new year. The tips for choosing a good plant are generated accordingly: the tree must have both ripe and green fruits, mature leaves and new bud - which represents wealth and luck brought to the family in the new year.

The ochna integerrima in the South has another meaning. The golden yellow of the flower means the noble roots of Vietnamese (folktales said that the ancestors of Vietnamese is a couple of dragon and fairy). In addition, the high rate of blossom of the flower in Tet holidays also symbolizes the wealth and passionate love among people.

Vietnamese usually buy those special plants from lunar mid-December from the flower market (some even try to have peach flower branches/trees from the mountains because of its impressive vitality) and keep them until lunar mid-January of the New Year. Some families keep the branches to the end of the lunar January.

It's something of a shame that few tourists venture beyond Sapa, because to the east of Lao Cai city lies the other half of the province. The ground soars upwards again to the peaks of the Chay River Massif, where the town of Bac Ha is to be found, 66 kilometres by road.

Bac Ha, at 700 metres above sea level, is a 'little Sapa', and while it's much less developed for tourism, it's in an ideal location for off-the-beaten-track treks to visit colourful weekly markets. The Can Cau and Bac Ha markets in particular feature local scenes that have been going on every week for generations, where cattle, horses, goats and dogs are bought and sold, as well as many traditional goods like saddles plus elaborate textiles, handbags and other trinkets made by the local tribespeople, the Flower Hmong. It's a very convenient place to explore the surrounds, and basing yourself here rather than Sapa will knock off about three hours of travel time each way on a daytrip to most of the local weekly markets. But don't expect any pizzas or breathtaking mountain views. Bac Ha is still, first and foremost, a local market town, and the tourist industry is only being added on, wherever it fits in. This is of course part of the attraction — although expect to still be bothered by H'mong hawkers.

The town gets a weekly assault of tourists at mid-morning on Sunday as daytrippers arrive from Hanoi to visit Bac Ha market. Those with time arrive on Saturday, either from Can Cau market or Lao Cai, and stay over to visit the market early the next morning: it's at its best before 09:00 although does carry on until lunchtime.

There are some good accommodation options and it is possible to avoid the tourist orientated restaurants and find local food places. There are also some less-travelled trekking and homestay trips available in the area, with visits to a variety of ethnic villages, particularly the Flower H'mong. About half the tribes in the area are H'mong, with the rest being Tay, Dzao, Tu Zi, Nung, Phula, La Chi and Lo Lo, among others.

There's very little to do in Bac Ha itself if you're settling in for the night. Market days are party days for the H'mong men, so you might be able to find a cluster of thoroughly pickled blokes to join in with, and let them rail on at you in an incomprehensible patois of Vietnamese, Chinese and Flower H'mong. If that's not your scene, bring a good book.

Orientation
With no banking for foreigners in Bac Ha make sure you bring enough cash to get you through. There is a post office and internet is available at some of the hotels but Bac Ha is not a good place to handle travel logistics, so make sure you have all your ducks in a row before arriving.

Buses back to Lao Cai, which is where most visitors head, leave from outside the temple early morning and afternoon. Or speak to your hotel or Mr Nghe at Green Sapa tour who will likely be able to arrange a pick up.

A. Inverter :
- Khái niệm dieu hoa Inverter đơn giản là dòng máy lạnh sử dụng công nghệ hiện đại kĩ thuật số. Toàn bộ việc điều tiết độ lạnh trong phòng của máy được kiểm soát thông qua bộ mạch điện tử vi xử lí thông minh thay cho công nghệ sử dụng rờ le cảm biến nhiệt  của các dòng máy lạnh thông thường.

- Sau đây là 1 vài ưu và khuyết được liệt kê như sau :

1. Ưu :
Nói đến dieu hoa Midea Inverter là trước tiên phải nói đến khả năng tiết kiệm điện vốn là sở trường của dòng này. Mức tiết kiệm điện dao động từ 30 – 90% điện năng so với các loại máy lạnh thông thường sử dụng công nghệ rờ le cảm biến nhiệt độ . Về khoản tiết kiệm điện này nếu so sánh với số tiền thanh toán hằng tháng chỉ bằng 1/3 so với dòng Non-Inverter thông thường

Điều đáng chú ý nhất là khả năng duy trì nhiệt độ phòng cực kì ổn định. Luôn duy trì được mức temp được Set sẵn trên Remote. Điều này sẽ khiến bạn không cảm thấy quá nóng hay quá lạnh khi xài công nghệ này. Đặc biệt là luôn tạo không khí dễ chịu và máy vận hành ở mức êm, yên ắng nhất ngay cả khi bạn ngủ.

Nhằm nâng cao tính chuyên nghiệp cũng như những tính năng vượt trội về dieu hoa Funiki không khí thì hiện nay máy lạnh dân dụng có trang bị thêm các tính năng như khử mùi (plasma), tạo ion giúp cho bầu không khí trong phòng bạn trở nên trong sạch và dễ chịu hơn.

Rất thích hợp cho người dùng nhạy cảm về nhiệt độ và cho những bé sơ sinh (nhiệt độ an toàn cho bé ở mức 28-29*C luôn luôn chính xác)

Cho phép chạy ở mức 120-125% công suất khi phòng chưa đủ lạnh trong vòng 45-1h . Sau khi đủ lạnh thì sẽ giảm ở mức 50-75% công suất tùy theo bộ biến tầng kiểm soát.

2. Khuyết :
Vì là dòng điều khiển hầu hết bằng các vi mạch điện tử nên máy rất khó chịu về điện áp. Điều kiện ban đầu khi lắp đặt máy là bạn phải đáp ứng đúng chuẩn điện áp mà nhà sản xuất đề ra - 5% . Cho nên khi lắp đặt Inverter bạn phải xác định được điện áp nguồn phải ở mức ổn định (có thể gắn ổn áp nếu cần thiết)

Vì là dòng điều khiển hầu hết bằng các vi mạch điện tử nên sẽ dễ hỏng hóc khi gặp thời tiết quá khắc nghiệt như cái nóng ban trưa như thiêu đốt, những ngày nóng ẩm liên tục. Mặc dù được thiết kế lắp đặt bên ngoài trời nhưng bạn cần phải chú ý vì nó chẳng khác gì chiếc máy tính cao cấp khi bị phơi mưa phơi nắng ngày đêm.

Tỉ lệ sửa chữa thành công và linh kiện thay thế thấp do linh kiện mới ko có mà chỉ là linh kiện cũ sàng lọc lại cho nhau.

Cụ thể hơn là nhà cung cấp hiện nay hầu hết chỉ bán nguyên máy chứ ko bán linh kiện lẻ.

Giá thành mắc gần gấp đôi so với loại máy Non-Inverter cùng công suất.

Không có khả năng chạy mức PowerFul quá lâu. Tức phòng phải đúng chuẩn, lạnh nhanh rồi máy giảm công suất lại thì mới bền. Càng chạy PowerFul bao lâu thì máy càng giảm tuổi thọ bấy lâu. => khả năng tiết kiệm điện chỉ thấy được 1 khi phòng đã lạnh

Đòi hỏi chế độ bảo trì liên tục, định kì nhiều lần trong năm.

Không cho phép chạy trong phòng có điều kiện quá tải so với công suất máy.

B. Non-Inverter :
- Dân thợ hay gọi là MONO. Máy chỉ có chạy ở 1 chế độ duy nhất là PowerFul, do đó nếu bạn Set Temp là 16* hay 24*C thì độ lạnh cũng như nhau. Không có khả năng tiết kiệm điện. Cách nhận biết rất rõ là ở bộ phận bên trong của đầu lạnh không có mạch điện tử, chỉ bao gồm 1 cục Capa cho Compressor và 1 Capa cho FANMotor. Máy chạy nếu để ý kĩ trong không gian yên tĩnh thì lâu lâu sẽ nghe tiếng lạch tạch của rờ le cảm biến nhiệt hoạt động

1. Ưu :
Chạy cực kì lì lợm (nếu cứ 03tháng vệ sinh/lần thì chỉ biết rửa chứ ko biết hư, rất ít hư )

Cho phép chạy quá tải ở thời gian cao hơn so với Inverter (nghĩa là Inverter chết trước nó, nó thì fải vài tháng sau mới ngủm)

Linh kiện, hỏng hóc rất dễ nhận biết, sửa chữa bảo trì cũng dễ nốt

Giá thành máy khá rẻ, tầm hơn 4tr là có 1 bộ mới toanh 1.0HP

Sinh ra để luôn luôn chạy ở mức PowerFul. Đáp ứng được nhu cầu chạy quá tải hay chạy trong phòng kích thước lớn hơn so với máy (nếu phòng quá lớn so với công suất máy thì ko được đâu àh nha)

2. Khuyết :
Không có khả năng tiết kiệm điện. Lúc nào máy cũng chạy ở mức PowerFul

Do chỉ có duy nhất 1 con Sensor cảm ứng trên UnitIndoor nên Compressor dễ hỏng nếu bạn Set Temp Remote quá gần với nhiệt độ ban đầu của phòng . Vd : nếu temp phòng ban đầu của bạn là 30*C thì tốt nhất nên để ở mức 24-27*C . Nhằm hạn chế máy chạy ở tình trạng cúp tắt liên tục, có thể gây chết Compressor bất cứ lúc nào.
